He said his excavator will be available in a few months and that construction plans are moving forward but that infrastructure funding through the TIF will be realized only after buildings are constructed and sold.
Commissioner (speaker 6) moved to grant a six-month extension; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. Chair (speaker 5) confirmed the motion carried and the petitioner thanked the board.
The extension preserves the authority's ability to continue reviewing the project and allows the developer to return with updated timelines and plans; the petitioner said he will report back at the board's next meeting or when substantive progress occurs.
