At the start of the meeting the chair called for motions to approve routine documents. The board approved the June 22, 2026 executive-session memorandum and the July 8, 2026 executive-session memorandum by voice vote after motions and seconds. The minutes of the June 10 meeting were also approved by voice vote.
In the financial portion of the meeting, the secretary requested approval of executive vendor claims totaling $1,036,701, noting that roughly $806,000 of that total related to repaying a council loan and that $403,000 of the loan amount was repaid in the listed transactions. A motion to approve the executive vendor claims was made, seconded and carried by voice vote.
The board also approved shared vendor claims in the amount of $4,510.39 and approved payroll claims in a separate motion; both motions carried by voice vote.
Why it matters: Approvals of claims and minutes are formal board actions that effect disbursements and recordkeeping; the $1.04 million executive vendor claims include loan repayment activity that changes the authority’s fiscal position.
Next steps: Staff will execute the approved claims and post meeting minutes; board set the next meeting for Aug. 12, 2026.
