Trustee Ian Begemann moved to purchase three manhole covers to replace worn covers by the sewer plant and at the community building; the motion passed unanimously. Chairman Chad Krueger reported a $1,250 quote to apply dust control to 1,000 feet of Conestoga Road; the board approved the one-time treatment after Begemann’s motion, with three votes in favor, Pat Neu voting no and Krueger abstaining.
Trustees debated whether to stripe parking on Elm Street; Begemann’s motion to paint striping failed when Trustees Matt Anson, Pat Neu and Chad Krueger voted no. The board also directed maintenance to contact contractors about replacing three hydrants and to collect quotes for installing water meters at the community building and United Methodist Church to comply with regulations.
