Glassport Borough Council was told crews televising the borough’s sewer system have discovered two fully collapsed lines and will await engineer recommendations before committing to repairs.
Council Vice President Mark Stecak reported the televising work and briefed council on findings and next steps. The minutes record that the borough is waiting for the engineer’s recommendations on how to proceed after finding two fully collapsed lines.
During the same public-works discussion, council voted to advertise the sale of a 2000 bucket truck and later approved advertising the sale of a scissor lift. Both equipment-sale motions passed unanimously.
