She also summarized recent litigation developments, noting a Franklin County trial court judge had ruled a statewide voucher program unconstitutional and that appeals were underway with possible final resolution at the state Supreme Court.
Board members moved and approved payment of the invoice to continue the district’s participation in the coalition. Miss Marshall said the payment allows the district to continue contributing to the coalition’s efforts while litigation proceeds.
