Committee members told the Norton Parks Committee that the PNR sponsorship program has attracted roughly 20 sponsors and that Yale Appliance recently reached out to join.
At the meeting a committee member summarized the program: “I would say a total of, off top of my head, 20 or so sponsors, at the different levels that was established. So, I know Yale Appliance just reached out and they're willing to, to become a member.” The member described tiered benefits: the lowest tier receives a sign at the municipal pool and a Facebook shout-out; a mid-tier (identified in discussion as $250) gets signage at one major event plus social recognition; sponsors must renew annually for continued signage.
Committee members said the sponsorship signs are visible at events such as the parade and at the pool; one participant estimated about 22 signs are currently in place. Members called the sponsorship program a meaningful source of revenue for community events but said there were no planned changes at this time.
