The Norton Parks Committee postponed approval of the previous meeting’s minutes after one member said they could not vote because they had not attended the earlier meeting.
The Chair opened the vote and moved to approve the minutes. A committee member said, “I was not at the meeting. I apologize. You guys can vote on it,” and later clarified they could not abstain because they had not heard the discussion. The Chair concluded the committee did not have the two additional votes needed and said the matter would be put off to the next meeting.
The committee did not take a recorded roll-call tally at the meeting; members agreed to consider the minutes again at the next convening.
