Humboldt County supervisors approve transfers, fuel purchase and routine motions

The board approved the resolution by roll-call vote with all supervisors recorded as voting aye. The transfer is intended to provide additional funds for secondary road maintenance and projects.
The board also approved Resolution 2026 06-15.2, moved by Supervisor Rasmussen and seconded by Supervisor Carpenter, transferring $17,150 from the General Basic fund to Secondary Roads to reimburse Planning and Zoning. That motion passed by unanimous roll-call vote.
Separately, Supervisor Pedersen moved and Supervisor Rasmussen seconded approval of a fuel quote from W&H Co-op for $7,187.50 for the 2026–2027 fiscal year; the motion passed with all voting aye.
Earlier in the meeting the board adopted routine procedural items: Supervisor Carpenter moved and Supervisor Thompson seconded approval of the meeting agenda; Supervisor Rasmussen moved and Supervisor Thompson seconded approval of the June 8 minutes, both motions passing unanimously.
The board recessed briefly to convene as trustees for Drainage District 11 Sub 1 and then adjourned that trustees session and reconvened as the Board of Supervisors; both procedural motions passed by unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned at 10:23 a.m.
