Peoria County Board honors outgoing CFO Heather McCord for service and leadership

The proclamation was read on behalf of the county board and signed in the text by James C. Dillon, chairperson, and Rachel Parker, county clerk.
Heather McCord responded, calling the recognition unexpected and humbling and thanking the board and the finance team for support during her four-and-a-half years as CFO. "This is incredibly, unexpected and very humbling," she said, and added she would not be going far and thanked county staff for their work.
Board members offered personal thanks and well wishes for McCord's next role.
