Councilperson Renell Noack asked the council to cancel the regular meetings that would fall on Nov. 27 and Dec. 25 for the holidays. Councilperson Alan Hipps moved to cancel those dates and Noack seconded; the council then approved the motion by roll-call vote.
The roll call recorded Councilpersons Renell Noack, Gary Vojtush, Nicholas Magistrelli, Alan Hipps and Kevin Lewis voting yes. Mayor Jenn Domzalski was present for the action. No abstentions or opposing votes were recorded.
The request to cancel the two meeting dates arose during the announcements portion of the Sept. 25 meeting. No further procedural actions or substitute dates were set during the session.
Earlier in the meeting the council also approved the minutes from its Sept. 11, 2024 meeting on a motion from Councilperson Alan Hipps, seconded by Councilperson Kevin Lewis; that motion passed by roll-call vote with the same five council members voting yes.
The council adjourned at 7:45 p.m. following a motion by Hipps and a second by Lewis that carried unanimously.
