Separately, the board clarified burn-notice procedures: rather than a strict county-wide burn ban, the county ordinance requires call-in notice so the fire chief can review and permit burns as conditions allow. Commissioners agreed to consider temporarily lifting broad restrictions while maintaining the call-in and chief-approval process.
A motion to accept the fuel bid was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The board also approved vouchers and adjourned later in the meeting.
