The council approved an on‑call compensation package for Public Works personnel that pays $25 per day plus time‑and‑a‑half for work after regular hours, weekends and recognized holidays. Council Member Lloyd Vetter made the motion; Sally Swanson seconded and the vote was 5-0. The change is effective Jan. 1, 2026.
Clerk Dana Miron reported a cost estimate of about $1,615 to replace garlands and lights on 19 streetlight posts; the council approved ordering replacement garlands with multi‑colored lights if available (motion by Garrett Boulineau, seconded by Lloyd Vetter). Finally, the council approved changing regular meeting start times to 6 p.m. for November through April and 7 p.m. for May through October (motion by Vetter, seconded by Swanson).
