Health Officer resigns; town logs permits and timber intent

The board received and recorded the resignation of Health Officer Deb Corey, effective Jan. 31, 2026. The minutes note Deputy Health Officer Margo Connors will reach out to the North Country Consortium to assess interest in establishing a regional health officer shared among several towns.
The record shows three State of New Hampshire driveway permits issued to Eversource for temporary utility access on several Route 18 parcels (Map 205, Lots 11, 10 and 8; Map 204, Lot 7). The board also signed an Intent to Cut Wood/Timber for Marc and Juli Prisco (Map 11, Lot 4, Blake Road).
Separately, the town will receive $4,032 from the Town of Franconia representing its portion after containers were sold at the Transfer Station; those funds will be placed on a warrant article to be returned to the Tri Town Transfer Station Capital Reserve Fund. The board received approvals for an Operation DES Sewage System for Map 218, Lot 3 (Schmarr) on Hadley Road and construction approval for Map 218, Lot 31 (Creamery Pond Road).
No board appointments to replace the Health Officer were recorded at this meeting; the resignation was noted for future staffing action.
