Business staff member Shaylee told the board the proposed budget is built from current legislative proposals and asked the board to approve the adopted budget for 2026'27 so the district has a working plan until final figures are available.
"This was all proposed information," Shaylee said. She added the administration will return with a revised budget in December after the annual financial report to show final carryforward figures and any legislative adjustments.
A board member moved to adopt the fiscal year 2026'27 budget; the motion was seconded and the board voted in favor. The chair announced the motion carries.
