Calhoun County commissioners adopt five long-term strategic goals at special planning session

The Calhoun County Board of Commissioners adopted a set of five long-term goals during a special strategic planning session held June 25, 2009, at Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek.

Commissioner Lee moved to adopt Resolution 122-2009, "Resolved by the Calhoun County Board of Commissioners approve the listing of long-term goals," a motion supported by Commissioner Rocho; the motion carried on a voice vote. The resolution formally lists Intergovernmental Cooperation, County-wide Transportation, Youth/Senior Services Programs, Infrastructure Maintenance and Economic Development as the county's long-term goals.
