Land Bank director reports 87% of recent projects concentrated in Battle Creek and Albion, highlights neighborhood programs

Krista Trout-Edwards, executive director of the Calhoun County Land Bank Authority (CCLBA), presented the Land Bank's annual report for 2020-2021 during the March 3 meeting.
Trout-Edwards said 87% of the Land Bank's projects in that period were in Battle Creek or Albion and described a set of programs aimed at property rehabilitation and neighborhood stabilization: Transform This Home, the Washington Heights Neighborhood Project, Develop this Lot and Transform this Commercial Property. Amy Rose Robinson and Angela Whitesell were present and provided additional overview of projects.
