Council unanimously approves Town Manager pay increase and authorizes foreclosure action

On a motion by Councilor Ausiello, seconded by Councilor Barthel, the Council approved a 3.25% general wage increase to the Town Manager's regular salary for FY2024-25, raising it to $184,993, and increased the salary supplement from 5% to 7% to permit contributions to the 457 Deferred Compensation Plan.
Separately, the Council voted (motion by Chairman Polhamus, seconded by Ms. Ausiello) to authorize the Town Attorney and Murtha Cullina LLP to initiate and pursue foreclosure on a judgment lien related to 24 Brentwood Drive (Docket No. HHD-CV-21-6144982-S). The motions to enter and exit the executive session (enter at 12:55 p.m., exit at 1:29 p.m.) were taken by recorded unanimous vote.
