Drummond board issues temporary liquor license for Feb. 14 Barstool Races

The Town of Drummond board voted Jan. 13 to issue a Temporary Class B liquor license to Drummond Dirt & Sno-Jacks for the Barstool Races scheduled Feb. 14 at Drummond Lake Park. Clerk Andy Tuttle told the board the application was complete and that required fees had been paid.
Supervisor Jeff Hurula moved to approve the license and Supervisor Scott McKinney seconded; the motion carried. The board also approved an operator/bartender license for Addie Arens after Tuttle said her background check returned acceptable results.
The board’s approvals come as the town prepares for winter events and anticipates completion of pavilion construction prior to the races, although the contractor is awaiting timber deliveries. The meeting record shows no conditions attached to the liquor license; the clerk will process the license paperwork and notify organizers. The next board meeting is scheduled for Feb. 11, 2026.
