Commission members urge business support for Eagle River River Trail; Town of Lincoln currently opposed

Chair Ron Van Dusen reported that, after speaking with representatives from the Town of Lincoln, the town is currently opposed to the bike trail for several stated reasons. Commissioners noted that meaningful progress on the project is unlikely without a change in leadership or the town’s position.
The discussion was advisory; no motion to fund or otherwise advance the River Trail was recorded during the meeting.
