At its Feb. 10 meeting the Common Council approved a suite of routine items and a handful of formal actions summarized here.
Permits and events: The council approved temporary signs and a street banner for the Cranberry Country Quilters Show (July 18, 2026) and granted display-of-goods, amplification, temporary/no-parking signs, and pedestrian-crossing measures for the Eagle River Lions Club Sausage Fest (Sept. 6, 2026). Motions carried.
Operator licenses and appointments: Regular operator licenses were approved for Lisa Bodamer and Brett Jungwirth.
Leases and resolutions: Council approved a one-season restaurant/bar operator lease for the Eagle River Golf Course for 2026 and adopted Resolution #1073 (Public Participation Plan) and Resolution #1074 (Trap-Neuter-Return policy).
Ordinances and finance: Presentation of Ordinance 602 (staggering council terms) was tabled to the April meeting so all council members can attend physically. A motion to pay the city and golf course bills carried on roll call with Ayes: Kim Schaffer, Dan Dumas and Mayor Deb Brown; Abstentions: Jerry Burkett and Vic Washelesky.
Adjournment: The council adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
