The Eagle River Light, Water and WWTP Commission approved a $1.00 per hour wage increase for Billing/Utility Clerk Jennifer Kennedy on Feb. 17, 2026 after completing a six‑month personnel review in closed session.
President Debra Brown called the commission to order at 1 p.m. and the body moved into a closed session under Wisconsin State Statute 19.85(1)(c) on a motion by Commissioner Walt Gander, seconded by Commissioner Dan Dumas. The item discussed in closed session was the six‑month review of Jennifer Kennedy, identified on the agenda as Billing/Utility Clerk. The commission returned to open session on a motion by Dan Grosskopf, seconded by Walt Gander; the return-to-open-session roll call recorded Commissioners Grosskopf, Gander, Eibner and Dumas voting aye.
Following the closed review, the commission voted on a motion by Walt Gander, seconded by Dan Dumas to increase Kennedy’s pay by $1.00 per hour. The motion carried on a roll‑call vote with Commissioners Gander, Dumas, Grosskopf and Eibner recorded as voting aye.
