The Village of Elk Mound Board of Trustees on Jan. 20 approved routine financial and administrative items, including combined general-fund and water/sewer vouchers totaling $308,752.56.
Trustees Pat Hahn and Tim Benjamin moved and seconded the motion to approve combined checks 33151–33201 and direct deposits V3874–V3893, which the board recorded as carried. Karin Wolf, the Village Clerk‑Treasurer, verified that proper notice of the meeting had been posted at the start of the session.
The board also approved the site for a new fire‑danger sign. Trustees Cynthia Abraham and Tim Benjamin moved and seconded the motion to place the sign at the south end of the Village Park; the motion carried.
To avoid the Presidents Day holiday, trustees voted to change the regularly scheduled Feb. 17 meeting to Monday, Feb. 10, 2025; Tim Benjamin and Pat Hahn moved and seconded that change, and the motion carried.
Earlier in the meeting, trustees approved the minutes of the Dec. 18, 2024 meeting on a motion moved by Cynthia Abraham and seconded by Tim Benjamin. The board adjourned at 6:31 p.m. following a motion by Tim Benjamin, seconded by Pat Hahn.
