Elk Mound board appoints two trustees and accepts trustee resignation

The Village of Elk Mound Board of Trustees appointed Roger Linberg and Terry Stamm to fill two trustee vacancies and accepted a resignation at its April 21 meeting.
Village President Tim Benjamin moved to appoint Roger Linberg to fill Trustee Vacancy No. 1; Bob Bachman seconded the motion and it carried. Benjamin and Bachman then moved to appoint Terry Stamm to fill Trustee Vacancy No. 2; that motion also carried. The board approved the village’s 2025–2026 committee listing with proposed changes (motion carried).
The board accepted the resignation of Trustee Pat Lien; the motion to accept the resignation was made by Trustee Terry Stamm and seconded by Trustee Pat Hahn and was approved. President Benjamin later presented Certificates of Appreciation recognizing Stamm’s and Lien’s years of service.
The appointments and the acceptance of the resignation were recorded as motions on the meeting agenda and reflected by the clerk’s minutes. No vote tallies were recorded in the minutes beyond the notation “motion carried.”
The board adjourned business related to personnel and other operational items to future meetings as needed.
