Village of Eden board approves routine business, sets Oct. 26 Trick-or-Treat and OKs Grahl subdivision plans

The Village of Eden Board met Sept. 17 and unanimously approved a series of routine motions, set the village Trick-or-Treat date and approved subdivision plans that include stormwater controls.
The meeting opened under President Kevin Goebel. A motion by Board member Jay Baumhardt, seconded by Owen Gellings, approved the Aug. 20 minutes. Board member Henry Guell moved, and Baumhardt seconded, approval of the treasurer's report. Guell then moved, seconded by Owen Gellings, to pay the bills as presented. All procedural motions carried unanimously.
The board set the village Trick-or-Treat date to Oct. 26, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.; that motion was made by Henry Guell and seconded by Owen Gellings and carried. The board also approved the Grahl Subdivision #4 plans for construction of a retention pond and a sewer connection to serve 12 houses (six on Shady Lane and six on Reagan Drive). The plans as presented state the retention pond will satisfy the Village's MS4 stormwater guidelines.
Other routine items approved without recorded opposition included a temporary borrowing authorization and the building inspection report. The meeting adjourned by unanimous motion.
