The Hudson Planning Commission on July 20 approved concept final development plans for a Dedicated Logistics truck maintenance shop at 2720 Elm (Enloe) Street in the Saint Croix Business Park.
Staff member (S6) described the proposal as a 70-by-85-foot (5,950-square-foot) accessory building to support Dedicated Logistics's existing truck and van delivery facility, including shop space, storage, an office and a restroom. "Proposal includes a 70 foot by 85 foot, 5,950 square foot accessory building to support their existing truck and van delivery facility," S6 said. Staff recommended approval with listed conditions.
A commissioner (S5) asked whether any residences are within shouting distance of the property; S6 said none within the city. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the concept plans by voice vote. Staff will provide required follow-up information on drainage and any utility or safety concerns identified in the conditions.
