The board approved liquor licenses for Broiler fest — five oasis licenses and one picnic license — on a motion by Trustee K. Boodry and a second from Trustee A. Trimble.
On committee business Trustee K. Boodry moved to appoint Micaila Wagner to represent the village on financial accounts, replacing Peggy Remm; Trustee A. Trimble seconded and the appointment was approved.
In public-works business, the board awarded the LRIP road project to Gasser with a bid of $29,281.45. Village members noted concerns about new drop-offs into driveways and parking spots; Village staff member Kevin (no last name provided in the meeting record) was assigned to follow up with Gasser and to clarify what documentation is needed for reimbursement.
Trustees discussed acquiring a new village lawn mower and whether sewer funds could be used; President Biba said the sewer beds need tilling. Trustee K. Boodry moved to rent appropriate equipment to complete the task; Trustee M. Wagner seconded and the motion carried.
Library Director S. Scholz told the board the library was awarded a $300 grant for summer programming; the director’s report is on file at the library. The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m. on a motion by Trustee K. Boodry and a second from Trustee A. Trimble.
