Public Works Director Bryan Bechel told the Village Board on Dec. 9 that crews and contractors have connected two additional residences to Elmwood27s water and sewer systems.
Bechel said the community Thanksgiving lunch on Nov. 23 raised funds toward the library roof-replacement project; volunteers and a local business donation helped the effort. He also reported the village received two bids to replace an existing metal culvert under Highway 72 at the intersection of Omaha Avenue and Race Avenue and plans to install a concrete culvert.
No financial amounts or contractor names were announced at the meeting; the board received the information as an update.
