The Village of Elmwood Board, led by President Neil Boltik, met Oct. 14 and approved the minutes of its Sept. 9 meeting and the payment of the bills submitted for the current cycle.
Dawn Toth moved to approve the Sept. 9 minutes; Jason Severson seconded and the roll-call motion carried. Later in the meeting, Dawn Toth again moved to approve payment of the bills as presented; Pam Marson seconded and that roll-call motion also carried.
The board approved three operator licenses after a motion from Pam Marson and a second from Dawn Toth. The licenses covered applicants Matthew Mehrkens and Lani Johnson associated with Kern's Kurbside, and Audrey Bigaouette associated with Half Throttle Saloon. The board voted by roll call to carry the motion.
President Boltik confirmed the board complied with open meeting law requirements at the start of the meeting. The session included routine reports from Public Works, the police department and the clerk’s office and concluded with a motion to adjourn that carried; Paul Unser moved and Pat Geraets seconded. The meeting ended at 7:34 p.m.
