The Common Council of the City of Fennimore approved several administrative items on Sept. 16, 2024.
On the consent agenda the council approved operator licenses for Amanda Raymie and Caydon Elliott on a motion by Alderperson Strack, seconded by Alderperson Adam; the motion carried 6-0. The council also approved the appointment of Jalissa Reynolds to complete Kelly Ahnen’s term on the library board on a motion by Alderperson Roth, seconded by Alderperson Sheckler; the motion carried 6-0.
The council approved use of the Memorial Building on Oct. 5, 2024 as a backup venue for a wedding on a motion by Alderperson Adam, seconded by Alderperson Hagen; the motion carried 6-0. Other items on the agenda, including an equipment purchase and a driveway permit, were discussed but no formal action was taken; the minutes record that DPW, the mayor, and the property owner will observe ordinance rules regarding the driveway permit.
The minutes also record a Tree Board update noting that "Margaret" will coordinate with DPW staff member Jordan Fritche about the 2025 budget; no formal action is recorded for that item in the minutes.
