At its Jan. 12 meeting the Water Policy Interim Committee received an agency update from the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC).
Toni Henneman of the Legislative Services Division introduced the DNRC monitoring briefing. Erin Weisgerber, DNRC deputy director, presented agency monitoring priorities and technical findings (Exhibit 8 was entered). The minutes record a single public comment during this segment from Rayelynn Brandl, executive director of the Montana Association of Conservation Districts.
The presentation and attendant discussion were recorded in the minutes log but the minutes do not include verbatim testimony or technical tables. The committee did not take formal action during the DNRC update; the item proceeded to the midday recess and later agenda items.
