On July 22 the Zoning and Planning Committee received updated cost estimates for a comprehensive zoning project. Committee member Ben Adank reported that two firms provided proposals, with full-project estimates in the range of $75,000 to $100,000.
Committee members also discussed a smaller, targeted review of the current ordinance estimated at $4,000 to $5,000, and a phased approach that could spread work over two to three years at roughly $25,000 to $30,000 per year. The committee asked Adank to obtain a statement from contractors describing the scope of work and deliverables for any review they would perform.
No contract was awarded at the meeting; the committee retained the matter for follow-up procurement steps.
