Ronda Wiggers of the Montana Well Drillers Association emphasized practical concerns for private well owners and the need for guidance that addresses well-construction and testing feasibility. Ann Hallowell reiterated local concerns raised earlier in the meeting.
Committee members asked DEQ for clarification about sampling plans, detection limits, and coordination with other agencies. Staff indicated follow-up materials would be compiled to support potential recommendations or next steps.
