Resident raises mobile home court cleanup; Slaughter granted month to finish nuisance cleanup

During public comment at the Sept. 10 Village of Gilman meeting, resident Derrick Romig urged trustees to follow up on cleanup at the Mobile Home Court, saying the manager had previously told the board the lawn crew was contacted and clean-up would happen but that work had not been completed. Village President Jane DeStaercke said she followed up with manager Gina Holz two weeks earlier and messaged her again on Sept. 10; DeStaercke said, "if nothing was done it would be on the board's agenda to take it up as a public nuisance."
