Village President Jane DeStaercke on May 14 recognized Police Chief Thomas Tallier during National Police Week for 25 years of service to the Village of Gilman. The Village Board thanked Tallier for his long tenure and Village Clerk Candice Grunseth presented a cake on behalf of the board.
Chief Tallier was noted as present at the regular meeting, which began at 6:00 p.m. The recognition preceded the board’s routine business for the evening and was recorded in the meeting minutes as a special order of business.
