A representative speaking on behalf of YHNK (speaker 7) updated the Fallsburg Planning Board on project progress and next steps. “We did a traffic study, submitted that with this packet. We have submitted a wetland delineation report,” the representative said, and said an updated set of plans had been filed. The presenter added that test‑well work is on hold pending court approval.
Board members requested technical review. One member asked that town staff refer the traffic‑letter study to the town’s traffic consultant for review and to report back at the next meeting; staff agreed. The board also discussed SEQR scoping: a consultant prepared a draft scoping document and the board agreed to hold a public scoping session limited to the scoping document (not a hearing on project merits). The consultant and staff estimated a 60‑day review period with a target of adopting a final scope at the September meeting.
The presenter said the applicant will provide the full hydrology study and additional materials at the August meeting and that some EAF/technical items (including lighting plans and wetlands verification) remain active. Board members asked staff to circulate technical sections to their consultant and to ensure state verification emails are placed in the record.
