Frederic approves part‑time staff personal time, temporary beer license and routine financial items

At its Feb. 10 meeting the Frederic Village Board approved several consent and routine items.
The Personnel/Finance Committee recommended that Donna Blazek, the part‑time administrative assistant, receive 18 hours of personal time annually; unused hours will be paid out at year end. The board approved the recommendation (mover: Duane Wisse; seconder: Patty Swenson).
The board also approved a Temporary Class B (beer only) license for Frederic Arts for three "Raise the Roof" concert dates (Feb. 28, March 28 and April 25, 2025). Trustees approved the license application as presented.
Finally, the board approved the check register (checks numbered 193686–193745) and took note of committee and department head reports, including that the Coon Lake Classic was successful and a reminder about the Spring Primary Election on Feb. 18 (the only office on the ballot is State Superintendent of Public Instruction). The meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
