Gilmanton board approves consent agenda, names WASB delegate

The School District of Gilmanton Board of Education approved its consent agenda during a Nov. 20 meeting that included monthly vouchers totaling $41,875.06, minutes from Oct. 27 meetings and hearings, and several community donations.
Jackson Serum moved to approve the consent agenda; Lance Peterson seconded, and the board approved the package by a 5-0 vote. The consent motion recorded donations of plywood and tools provided through Walmart by Devin Oesau and Lynn Rongholt; $5,000 from the Gilmanton Community Club to provide free school breakfast and lunch in December for all students; $150 from the Gilmanton Sportsman Club and $50 from Tony Hill to the Food Service Donation Account; and $300 from the Gilmanton American Legion for the after-school program.
In separate action on new business, President Daren Bauer moved that Jeremiah Bauer serve as the district delegate to the 2026 Wisconsin Association of School Boards Delegate Assembly; Lance Peterson seconded and the motion carried 5-0. No additional votes or formal actions were recorded at the meeting.
The board convened at 5:19 p.m. and adjourned at 8:30 p.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for Dec. 18, 2025 at 5:15 p.m.
