Elections Commission approves extra precinct worker, consolidates polling places for May 5 election

The Zeeland Elections Commission on April 27 approved an additional precinct worker for the May 5, 2026 local election and the city clerk reported that two precincts will be consolidated into a single polling location at the Howard Miller Library/Community Center.

City Clerk Kristi DeVerney called the meeting to order at 8:12 a.m. and took the roll; Attorney Donkersloot and DeVerney were present and Mayor VanDorp was recorded as absent.
