The Whitehall Town Council approved a slate of routine items on the consent agenda during its July 15 meeting, including planning-board recommendations, event street closures and a pair of water bill credits.
Planning Board recommendations recorded in the minutes included approval for a fence at 511 West Legion St. (Clara Dux); a playhouse/shed at 107 S Main St. (Tanya Johnson); a fence at 10 W First St. (Bridget Morse); two fence adjustments for 416 N Noble St. (Joel Andrews) requiring an adjustment to fence height; and an addition to an existing structure at 105 S Whitehall St. (Will Austin). The minutes note the Planning Board recommended approval for these applications.
Event permits and street closures were included for Frontier Days (scheduled July 26–28), with closures on Main Street and Division/Legion corridors during the event window, and for a Larissa Boyd concert planned for July 20 with a temporary Main Street closure. The consent agenda also listed two water credits: a $144.98 credit for 508 Valley View and an $82.36 credit for 109 E 1st St.
Business-license items were on the consent agenda. Bunk House Interiors was listed as approved; the application for Denny Designs was tabled for additional documentation because of the business’s proposed location or scope.
