The White Sulphur Springs Parks Advisory Committee met Oct. 1 and reviewed a draft public survey prepared by Great West as part of the city’s parks master plan process. Chair Tressa Blair opened the meeting at 5:10 p.m. and members proceeded to review the draft questions and wording.
Committee members recommended edits to the survey’s content and phrasing and discussed how the survey will be refined before being sent to the consultant. City Council liaison Pattie Berg was instructed to update the document to reflect the committee’s recommended changes, circulate the revised draft to committee members for review, and then forward it to Great West for incorporation into the master plan outreach effort.
The committee deferred development of a full outreach plan until a future meeting, leaving scheduling and outreach strategy for the Oct. 29 meeting. The committee set its next meeting for Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. The session adjourned at approximately 6:00 p.m.
