New Mountainview facility application reaches national office; decision expected by end of September

Mountainview Medical Center’s CEO told the board on Aug. 28 that the hospital’s new facility application has moved from the state office to the national review office after architect recertification, and staff expect a decision by the end of September.
Rob Brandt said questions from the state office have been answered and the architect recertified the plan before sending the packet on to the national office. Brandt described the architect assigned by the national office as pleasant to work with and said the hospital has received positive feedback to date.
Board members were told to expect news on the application by the end of September. No formal new commitments or budget actions were made in the meeting regarding the project.
