Whitehall council approves agenda, minutes and consent items; tables pool policy and signs bills

The Whitehall Town Council held routine business during its April 21 meeting, approving the agenda and prior minutes, passing the consent agenda that included business licenses and development permits, and approving the bill and claim list to be signed by council members.
Katy James moved approval of the agenda and minutes; Linda Jung seconded both motions and each passed unanimously. The consent agenda, read by James, included business licenses for Starrbuds and Helfrich Electric and Automation, planning-board and Rec Board items, and development permits for Whitehall Pharmacy and David Jones; the motion to approve the consent agenda passed unanimously.
On finance, the council approved the list of bills and claims to be signed by all council members. Separately, the council tabled an amendment to the Pool Fundraising Fund (2393) spending policy so that purchase-order language can be added before final adoption.
The meeting adjourned at 7:44 p.m.; the next regular council meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 19, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
