Winifred council appoints Cody Isom to Ward 2, updates bank signers and credit-card holders

At its Jan. 14 meeting the Winifred Town Council voted to appoint Cody Isom to fill the Ward 2 seat vacated by Shirley Dyer and made administrative changes to bank and credit-card signers.
Mayor Shirley Dyer informed the council she had received a call from Cody Isom expressing interest in the Ward 2 vacancy. On a motion by Rick Baker, seconded by Kristin Carlstrom, the council appointed Isom to finish the term; the motion passed unanimously.
The council also approved a motion from Council Person Kristin Carlstrom to remove former Mayor Travis Willson as a signer on town bank accounts, the Central Montana Foundation account and the safety deposit box, and to add Mayor Dyer; Rick Baker seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Carlstrom made a separate motion to remove Willson from the town credit card, add Mayor Dyer and keep Town Clerk Cheri Kjersem on the card, and to add Rick Baker to a third town credit card. Barry Ehlert seconded; the motion passed, and the minutes note Rick Baker abstained from that vote.
