City staff recommended approving a design and bid‑document agreement with 1st Group for $43,000 to prepare plans and get the city's CCMG (County Community Matching Grant) street work ready to bid. Staff said NDOT had identified additional funding and advised the city to prepare bid documents so the project can move forward when funds are formally awarded.
The presenter said the consultant will generate the set of plans and assist in getting the project out to bid so paving, grading and restoration can proceed within the construction season. The board moved, seconded and approved consideration to proceed with the design agreement.
