Planning Board continues Breakfast Hill Road development to Feb. 19 for more engineering review

The Greenland Planning Board voted unanimously on Jan. 15 to continue the public hearing on a proposed development at 340 Breakfast Hill Road and 00 Breakfast Hill Road to Feb. 19, 2026.
Scott Cole of Beals Associates requested the continuance. Consultant Mark Fougere told the Board the applicant had resolved a misunderstanding with the City of Portsmouth regarding the required water volume and is confident that sufficient water will be available for the project. Fougere also said Altus Engineering’s comment list has shrunk from more than 100 items to approximately 40, reflecting progress on technical requirements.
Chairman Bob Dion opened the hearing for public comment; none were offered. John McDevitt moved to continue the hearing to the Feb. 19 meeting; Heather Droesch seconded. The motion carried unanimously.
The Board did not take further substantive action on the project at the Jan. 15 session; applicants are expected to return with updates at the February meeting to address remaining engineering comments and confirm water availability.
