Selectman Zack Pike moved to forward the petitioned article authorizing the 10-year lease/purchase of a fire truck to public hearing; the motion carried.
Fiscal note: Chief Stanchina estimated a tax impact of approximately $0.09 per $1,000 of assessed value per year for the next 10 years beginning in 2027, and staff noted the opportunity for a volume discount and shorter delivery timelines if the procurement proceeds.
The petitioned article will appear on the warrant if approved by voters after the public hearing process.
