He also noted a $60,000 grant for the water department to inventory lead service lines. Pimental described the town's 20‑megawatt solar array as the largest in the state and noted the Planning Commission recognized the town for regional leadership on housing solutions.
Looking ahead, Pimental told the board the planning department will work on updating site‑plan and subdivision regulations and will handle several projects expected to appear before the board, including a five‑lot subdivision on Bay Road, a solar project at Cardinal Landfill, and the Farmington Ridge expansion.
The board received the report; there was no substantive debate and the meeting adjourned after the presentation.
