The Town of Grantham Board of Selectmen on Nov. 14, 2025 reviewed proposed departmental budgets for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027. The work meeting was called to order at 1:00 p.m. by Chair Warren Kimball in the Jerry Whitney Memorial Conference Room at the Grantham Town Building.
The Transfer Station, the Police Department and the Fire Department each presented and reviewed their proposed budgets as part of the Board—9s preliminary budget consideration. Transfer Station Supervisor Dana Ramspott, Police Chief John Parsons and Deputy Fire Chief David Beckley participated in the departmental reviews. The Board also reviewed the Community Services line item in the draft budget; the minutes do not list specific dollar amounts for that line item.
Present for the meeting were Chair Warren Kimball; Selectman Peter Garland; Selectman Jeremy Walla; Town Administrator Emily Owens; Police Chief John Parsons; Deputy Fire Chief David Beckley; Transfer Station Supervisor Dana Ramspott; and members of the public. After the budget reviews, Selectman Jeremy Walla moved to adjourn, a motion seconded by Chair Warren Kimball. By unanimous vote the Board adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
The Board scheduled its next meeting for Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. The minutes were submitted by Town Administrator Emily M. Owens.
