Ferrelview trustees approve minutes, permit extension and staff lodging reimbursement

The Village of Ferrelview Board of Trustees approved routine administrative items during its Feb. 10 regular session, including prior meeting minutes, a temporary permit extension and a lodging reimbursement for an upcoming water-industry conference.
City Administrator April Baxter presented minutes from the Dec. 9, 2025 and Jan. 13, 2026 regular sessions; the board approved them on a roll-call vote. The board granted a 30-day extension to the temporary mobile-home transfer permit for the construction trailer at 219 Chester Ave, extending the permit through Feb. 28, 2026, after the owner reported losing their primary home in a recent house fire.
Baxter also requested $300 reimbursement toward lodging for the Missouri Rural Water Association conference (March 2–5, 2026 in Branson). She said MODNR vouchers will cover the $310 conference fee but not lodging or travel; Trustee Grant Lewton moved the $300 reimbursement, the motion was seconded and passed 4-0.
Trustee Lewton said he favors readdressing 100 3rd Street to 306 NW Heady Ave rather than assigning duplex-style suffixes (304 NW Heady A & B). Baxter will consult USPS and MARC on next steps. Finally, Treasurer Baxter presented January 2026 billing summaries and the board voted to pay bills on a unanimous roll call.
All motions recorded at the Feb. 10 meeting passed by unanimous votes. The session adjourned at 6:52 PM.
