Byron — The Byron Town Council completed a series of routine motions and approvals at its July 8 meeting, voting unanimously on agenda approval (which added an item on cell-phone reimbursement), previous meeting minutes, and bill payments.
Council members approved renewal of the town’s Wyoming Water membership after a motion by Councilwoman Karma Sanders and a second by Brandon Hessenthaler. During the meeting Clerk/Treasurer Kristin Sanders said she will post town wages as required by “state statute” and the council declined to change wages.
On a separately added agenda item, the council approved a $40 monthly cell-phone reimbursement for Charlie McAlhany after a motion by Karma Sanders and a second from Mikey Brightly. Shae Abraham moved and Brandon Hessenthaler moved the council into executive session to discuss legal and personnel matters; the motion to enter executive session and the subsequent motion to adjourn were recorded as unanimous.
